Our Service, RokJox Entertainment, was started in 1981 when "Crazy" Dale Kay spun records at a local nightclub. A young lady approached Dale and asked him if he was available to do a wedding. Dale agreed and the birth of RokJox took shape. Dale has performed locally as an MC doing everything from New Years Eve Political Fundraisers to intimate out door weddings for less then 50 people.

Brad King a.k.a. Brad "The Trashman" joined RokJox in 1990. He is an established Club DJ and college educated communications major amd sound specialist. He has designed and built systems for some of the largest venues in Cleveland/Akron amd has handled crowds of well over 1000 Our performances have left a lasting impression on most people who experience our show.

Videographer Dan Roper and Photographer Michelle Hamlin came aboard in 1998. We met Michelle at a wedding in Aurora and hit it off immediately. Dan started out as Brad's assistant, but when another companies Videographer canceled on a bride of ours, Dan grabbed his video camera and gave it a try. He had some formal instruction years prior and the tape came out great. We decided we need to offer this as an affordable alternative for our clients. It was a hit!

Rich Readinger and Pete Prem both joined RokJox in 1998 also. Rich was originally an assistant to another DJ, but after 2 years of assisting Rich is out on his own as an MC, and has performed a vast number of receptions.
